Panera Bread Agrees to $7.16 Billion Buyout by JAB Holding

Panera Bread has agreed to be acquired by European investment fund JAB Holding in a roughly $7.16 billion deal that adds yet another household-name brand to a portfolio that includes Jimmy Choo shoes, Krispy Kreme doughnuts and Keurig Green Mountain coffee and coffee machines.
