Dehmelt Devoted His Career to Trapping the Elusive Electron

Work by Hans Georg Dehmelt and others deepened the understanding of physics at the subatomic scale and created tools still being used in the quest for quantum computers. He won a Nobel in physics in 1989. Dr. Dehmelt died March 7 at 94.
