Two of the hottest cable networks—Crown Media’s Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries—rely on a diet of romance, holidays and family to draw its audience. A favorite of viewers over the age of 50, the programming is beginning to strike a chord with Gen Xers.
