Freeport-McMoRan Settles Litigation Over Acquisitions

Freeport-McMoRan agreed to pay $137.5 million, much of that to its own shareholders, to settle allegations it overpaid in the 2013 acquisitions of two oil-and-gas producers, according to a court filing.
