Hermès' Chinese Brand Slow to Gain Traction

Hermès doesn’t expect its Chinese brand, Shang Xia, to break even until 2016, as the specialty line strives to build a following—an effort made that much harder by Beijing’s crackdown on lavish gift-giving among government officials.
